About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of individual giving and membership programs, including renewals, upgrades, and benefit fulfillment.
  • Oversee gift processing, ensuring all pledges and contributions are entered into the donor database with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and send personalized gift acknowledgments and tax receipts in coordination with development leadership.
  • Coordinate logistics for donor events, including the Annual Gala, Auxiliary Board events, and stewardship gatherings.
  • Serve as the primary administrator for the donor CRM, maintaining data integrity and pulling reports for fundraising analytics.
  • Act as the primary staff liaison to the Auxiliary Board, supporting meetings and fundraising initiatives.
  • Create donor stewardship communications, such as newsletters and recognition materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in development operations, database administration, fundraising events, or gift processing.
  • Demonstrated experience with CRM systems such as Tessitura, Raiser’s Edge, or Salesforce.
  • Proven experience with gift entry, donor records management, and acknowledgments.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for special events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting or working with a board or auxiliary board.
  • Familiarity with donor stewardship best practices and donor lifecycle management.
  • Interest in or commitment to the performing arts or cultural sector.
