About the role

Responsibilities

  • Identify, cultivate, and steward high-value annual giving donors and prospects
  • Manage a portfolio of Leadership Partners and Partners in Conservation
  • Develop and implement cultivation and stewardship strategies to meet fundraising goals
  • Execute high-touch personal contact to deepen donor engagement
  • Research prospects and prepare materials for major gift hand-offs
  • Monitor donor trends and programmatic developments to inform cultivation strategies
  • Collaborate with Regional Philanthropy and Gift Planning teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four years of success in fundraising and donor solicitation
  • Knowledge of development practices and techniques
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of conservation issues
