Development Miner

Responsibilities

• Advance the face using mechanized mining techniques, bolting, drilling, and blasting
• Operate underground machinery including jumbos, scoops, bolters, and scissors
• Support underground development, including services advancement and field support
• Assist with mechanical installations and maintenance of air, water, and ventilation systems
• Perform pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment functionality
• Inspect underground galleries to remove unstable rock and ensure compliance with safety standards

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of underground development experience depending on the specific role
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing
• Willingness to work at any underground mine site managed by Technica
