Requirements
Underground Hard Rock Mining Common Core designation, Specialty module U0020 (LHD with Remote Control), Minimum 5 years underground development experience, Willingness to work at various mine sites
About the role
Responsibilities
- Safely operate LHD equipment and complete pre-operational circle checks
- Setup and install remote mucking blocks, stopes, and backfilling stopes
- Muck underground ore/waste material and load haulage trucks
- Contribute to trucking, loading, manual bolting, and services
- Operate and maintain ore chutes, conveyor systems, or construction equipment like bulldozers and graders
Requirements
- Underground Hard Rock Mining Common Core designation (U0000-U0012) or equivalent
- Specialty module U0020 (LHD with Remote Control) required
- Minimum 5 years of underground development experience
- Willingness to work at various underground mine sites operated by Technica
- Ability to undergo pre-employment testing
Preferred Qualifications
- Specialty module U0018 (Mechanized Rock Bolter)
- Specialty module U0068 A or B (Trackless Haulage)
- Specialty module U0089 (Mechanized Jumbo Drill)
- Specialty module U0091 (Haul Truck)
- Experience using a jackleg and stoper
