Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate, foundation, and individual partners focused on renewals and growth
• Steward and upgrade corporate grants and sponsorships
• Plan and execute core fundraising and engagement events, including logistics and vendor management
• Manage event budgets and oversee event-related communications
• Independently manage the Young Professional Board, including recruitment and monthly meetings
• Own Salesforce and development systems to ensure accurate data and reporting
• Manage development-related communications including social media and newsletters
• Coordinate with marketing and program teams to develop fundraising assets

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in development, fundraising, or nonprofit account management
• Demonstrated experience managing donor relationships and revenue goals
• Proficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM systems
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-moving environment
• Willingness to attend occasional evening or weekend events

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of local business, civic, or philanthropic communities
