Development Hub Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the vehicle fleet, including dispatch, charging, cleaning, and maintenance.
• Lead and develop a team of safety drivers, service technicians, and support staff across multiple shifts.
• Monitor and report on vehicle uptime, fleet performance, and safety metrics to ensure target goals are met.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance and ensure all units are updated with correct software, hardware, and map configurations.
• Implement on-site incident response protocols and coordinate with emergency services and technical leadership during public road incidents.
• Coordinate with US and global development operations teams to align staffing, shifts, and vehicle allocation with test requests.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the development hub.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• 3+ years of people management or operations management experience.
• Proven experience in vehicle fleet management or service operations.
• Knowledge of vehicle testing life cycles (on-road and closed track).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
• Proficiency in data analysis methods and reporting of operations metrics.
• Associate's Degree or equivalent (Bachelor's Degree preferred).
• Physical ability to drive a vehicle and flexibility to work various shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the automotive or autonomous vehicle industry.
• Experience in customer service roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based operational tools.
