Development Hardware Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and construct testing setups in collaboration with the UI/UX team for rapid prototyping
• Define and oversee tool specifications and interface with internal teams and external suppliers
• Manage machine troubleshooting, documentation, and preventive maintenance schedules
• Maintain BOMs and ensure proper spare parts availability
• Design and improve infotainment software test rigs
• Use data sources to quantitatively evaluate and track tool performance

Requirements

• Background in mechanical engineering, robotics, mechatronics, controls, or automation
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or other 3D modeling software
• Experience with simulation of vehicle operation conditions
• Programming experience in any language
• Experience developing products in a UNIX environment
• Familiarity with software project management and agile methodology
• Bachelor's degree in Automotive, Embedded Software, Mechanical, Systems, or Computer Science
• 5+ years of professional work experience

• Experience developing embedded systems
• Automotive industry experience
• Proven record of innovation through patents, papers, or products
