Development Engineer Series Development

Responsibilities

• Take development responsibility for the series support of mechatronic assemblies in guided missiles
• Perform troubleshooting and error correction for actuator and gimbal systems during production
• Conduct detailed investigations, analyses, tests, and research to optimize design and manufacturability
• Implement design adjustments to increase First Pass Yield and reduce lead times
• Manage obsolescence measures by developing, testing, and implementing replacement solutions
• Support the series ramp-up process to ensure smooth production transitions
• Provide technical expertise to cross-functional departments including Project Management, Supply Chain, Quality, and Production Engineering

Requirements

• Engineering degree or comparable professional training
• Proven experience in the field of electrical drives
• At least 3 years of professional experience in series development and production support for similar systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve complex problems under time pressure
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate technical activities within a small team
• High level of responsibility and motivation to work collaboratively across different disciplines
