Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for new well and asset development activities, including stakeholder alignment and economic analysis.
• Act as a project manager for engineering projects, managing design, scope, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplined teams to identify development trials and optimization opportunities to maximize asset value.
• Evaluate new resource opportunities and emerging prospects to influence strategic and budget planning.
• Support the petroleum engineering team in booking corporate reserves and working with third-party evaluators.
• Prepare capital and production forecasts, explain variances, and review project expenditures.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in an engineering or engineering project management role.
• Proven experience working with unconventional resources and managing resource areas.
• Proficiency in Val Nav and the Office365 suite.
• Strong project management, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge and experience in production decline analysis for unconventional reservoirs.
• Experience in production and/or reservoir engineering.
