Development Engineer for Modeling and Simulation of Guided Missiles

Responsibilities

• Design simulations for complex dynamic systems within air defense in an interdisciplinary team
• Derive mathematical descriptions of physical behaviors for system components and implement them into simulation models
• Validate models and integrate them, along with tactical algorithms, into a comprehensive total simulation
• Execute simulations on computing clusters and evaluate results regarding system performance
• Support the conception and development of advanced simulation frameworks

Requirements

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, Cybernetics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable scientific field (PhD preferred)
• Proven professional experience in modeling and simulation methods
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and programming skills in C++ or Python
• Familiarity with modern software development tools such as Git, Docker, SonarQube, or Jenkins
• Strong proficiency in Linux environments
