Development Engineer for Flight Control

Responsibilities

• Create simulation models and develop algorithms for guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) of missiles and guided munitions
• Synthesize and analyze high-performance, robust flight controllers using classical and modern control methods (e.g., H∞ , LPV, and Sliding Mode control)
• Support the operational implementation of GNC algorithms following design in MATLAB/Simulink
• Participate in the planning, execution, and evaluation of test firing campaigns both domestically and internationally
• Develop technical concepts, specifications, and comprehensive documentation

Requirements

• Master's degree or Diploma in Cybernetics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field with a focus on control technology
• Professional experience in the field or a completed doctorate
• Deep knowledge of system dynamics, control and simulation technology, and flight mechanics
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink
• Basic knowledge of Git and C/C++
• Fluency in both German and English
• Strong communication skills and a goal-oriented, flexible mindset
