Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and integrate new software and web applications within a complex technical environment
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify product requirements and conduct integration analysis
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior Software Development Engineers
• Oversee the creation of technical documentation, including evaluation plans, test results, and manuals
• Design software update processes and assist with the roll-out of software releases
• Work closely with Quality Assurance teams to ensure applications meet all technical specifications
• Present and defend architectural and design choices to internal audiences
• Monitor industry technological developments and evaluate competitive products

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (or equivalent combination of coursework and experience)
• 7-10 years of relevant professional work experience
• Deep expertise in software design and engineering methodologies
• Proven technical leadership and mentorship skills
• Strong knowledge of process design and redesign
