Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and customize new software applications to maximize functionality and user experience
• Analyze system requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to integrate tailored solutions
• Manage the software update and release process to ensure seamless feature roll-outs
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers to foster technical excellence and knowledge sharing
• Manage technical documentation for all development activities
• Track software performance metrics to enhance system reliability and user satisfaction
• Partner with Quality Assurance to ensure software complies with technical specifications
• Lead or participate in peer programming sessions, design sprints, and prototyping

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (or equivalent professional experience)
• 7-10 years of relevant software development work experience
• Proven expertise in software application design and system requirement analysis
• Experience in software release management and technical documentation management
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior staff and lead collaborative development sessions
