Development Engineer 2

Responsibilities

• Perform SAP ABAP development to improve or add functionality to the existing SAP landscape, specifically focusing on HANA/ABAP and Financial modules
• Review functional specifications from product teams to ensure readiness for technical design and development
• Complete technical documentation and support functional teams during testing and bug-fixing phases
• Participate in project implementation design and development activities to support business adoption of new solutions
• Provide ongoing production support and enhancements post go-live, including working off-hours or weekends if required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 2.5 to 4.5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development
• Proven experience with SAP HANA CDS Views, OData Services, and AMDP
• Knowledge of SAP RAP (Restful ABAP) and CAP (Cloud Application) programming models
• Proficiency in Adobe Forms, SmartForms, and SAPScripts
• Experience with ECC development, including BADI, BAPI, LSMW, ALE, and IDOC
• Strong understanding of SDLC processes such as Waterfall and Agile Scrum

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience migrating custom code bases from ECC or SOH systems to S/4 HANA platforms
• Familiarity with SAP Clean Core principles and 3-Tier extensibility models
• Knowledge of Fiori, SAPUI5, SAP BTP Integration Suite, and SAP Business Application Studio
