Development Engineer 2

Responsibilities

• Perform SAP ABAP development to improve or add functionality to the existing SAP landscape, specifically focusing on HANA/ABAP and Financial modules
• Review functional specifications from product teams to ensure readiness for technical design and development
• Complete technical documentation and support functional teams during testing and bug-fixing phases
• Deliver high-quality clean core solutions through technical development that meets business requirements
• Adhere to IT/SAP project methodologies and change control processes
• Support production environments, including willingness to work off-hours or weekends when required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 2.5 to 4.5 years of SAP ABAP development experience
• Proficiency in MDG-V, IDOC, Workflow, RFC, and OOPS ABAP
• Strong debugging skills and experience with RICEF
• Experience with SAP HANA CDS Views and OData Services
• Knowledge of SAP RAP (Restful ABAP) and CAP (Cloud Application) programming models
• Experience with both ECC and S/4 HANA development, including migrating custom codebases
• Familiarity with SAP Clean Core principles and extensibility options

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Fiori SAPUI5, SAP BTP Integration Suite, and SAP Business Application Studio
• Experience with BADI’s, BAPI’s, LSMW, ALE, and Adobe Forms
• Understanding of SDLC processes such as Waterfall and Agile Scrum
