Development Engineer 2

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot
• Build and manage microservices-based architecture
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases for data storage and retrieval
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability
• Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Frontend, QA, and DevOps
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8 or above)
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot
• Solid understanding of Microservices architecture
• Experience building REST APIs
• Knowledge of Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate
• Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
• Familiarity with Git and version control

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Redis
• Understanding of API security protocols such as JWT or OAuth
• Basic exposure to Docker or Kubernetes
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Experience with JUnit or Mockito for unit testing
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
