Development Engineer 2

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain clean, efficient code for high-volume billing applications following development best practices
• Support the design and innovation of new software components aligned with business objectives
• Implement testing frameworks, including unit and integration tests, to ensure software quality
• Document development processes, design, and deployment procedures to facilitate knowledge transfer
• Analyze software integration needs and plan system architecture to meet technical specifications
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure applications meet all technical requirements and specifications
• Troubleshoot software issues and provide resolutions to enhance performance and user satisfaction

Requirements

• 2.5 to 4.5 years of professional experience in software development
• Expertise in Oracle BRM V12 (CNE) within high-volume billing environments
• Proven experience in a DevOps role within a billing context
• Strong knowledge of C and Java programming languages
• Proficiency with Oracle DBMS and PLSQL
• Experience with System Integration including SOA, WebService, RESTful, and SOAP
• Knowledge of reactive application development
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Perl shell scripting
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline approaches
• Knowledge of DM Kafka and related technologies
