Responsibilities

• Serve as a thought partner to the Executive Director in shaping regional development strategy
• Lead annual revenue planning and analyze fundraising data
• Identify new grant funding opportunities and lead proposal and report strategy
• Manage and upgrade a portfolio of institutional, corporate, and individual relationships
• Build and steward a prospect portfolio targeting $3,500+ gifts
• Manage Salesforce to integrate data into the donor cultivation process
• Supervise the regional Development Manager
• Support the creation of communications strategies and ethical storytelling
• Engage the regional Advisory Board and assist in recruiting new members

Requirements

• 6-10 years of nonprofit fundraising experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge of the Los Angeles fundraising landscape
• Strong strategic thinking and data-driven decision-making skills
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Salesforce or other fundraising databases
• Proven project management and team leadership abilities
