About the role

Responsibilities

  • Process donations from mail, phone, events, and online reports, including CRM entry
  • Manage daily cash receipting, deposit preparation, documentation, and reconciliation support
  • Coordinate direct mail production, including mail merges, printing, assembly, and tracking
  • Handle donor acknowledgments, receipts, invoices, and payment decline follow-ups
  • Maintain database accuracy by updating contact/billing information and managing returned mail
  • Provide event logistics and day-of support, including occasional off-site outreach
  • Manage office supply inventory and maintain vendor relationships
  • Provide phone coverage, visitor support, and daily mail distribution

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of related work experience
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and common office software
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Ability to move up to 50 lbs. with assistance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree with work-related experience
  • Prior office or administrative experience, preferably in a nonprofit setting
  • Experience with CRM or donor databases
  • Experience with event coordination and mail production
  • Familiarity with public radio
