Development Coordinator

About the Company

Flatiron Energy is developing and building grid scale standalone energy storage assets that integrate renewable energy onto the grid, replace fossil fuel plants, and increase grid reliability. The team has deep experience in developing, constructing, and operating energy storage assets in wholesale markets.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Development team including calendar management and meeting coordination
• Support real estate and project administration activities such as scheduling payments and tracking key dates
• Coordinate procurement of signatures and assist with recording and organizing real estate documents
• Maintain organized digital and physical files for active projects ensuring version control
• Keep project trackers, databases, and shared folders current to maintain a single source of truth
• Support reporting and analytics on development progress by collecting inputs and validating data
• Partner with the team to improve and automate processes using Excel, Google Sheets, or Power BI
• Work collaboratively to generate necessary Standard Operating Procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• 1-3 years of professional experience
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
• Analytical mindset and willingness to learn data tools and automation
• Understanding of energy markets, particularly ISO-NE, NYISO, and PJM
