Development Chemist

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality technical work, including daily chemical synthesis according to job hazardous analysis
• Adjust recipes independently to meet specific polymer requirements
• Conduct basic property testing, evaluation, and analysis of lab products following standard operating procedures
• Maintain detailed documentation of synthesis protocols, lab observations, and testing results
• Manage lab equipment and contribute to lab safety, housekeeping, and compliance
• Contribute to the exchange of know-how and the development of intellectual property and research reports
• Train interns and new junior colleagues

Requirements

• Degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, material science, or a related field
• Master's degree with at least 2 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of experience
• Technical proficiency in chemical synthesis and assigned laboratory tasks
• Ability to perform property testing and data analysis
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork
