Development Center Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage, improve, and train shop floor processes and equipment at the ContiLifeCycle (CLC) Development Center
• Collaborate with R&D, training, and process engineering groups to develop standards for the CLC dealer network
• Conduct classroom and hands-on shop training for internal and external groups
• Provide technical phone support to the dealer network regarding equipment and processes
• Develop automated processes for tire retreading
• Partner with specialists to create training documentation and instructional videos
• Support equipment and process improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field
• 2+ years of related industry experience
• Proven experience in project leadership and training
• Proficiency in MS Office products
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Legal authorization to work in the US (sponsorship is not available)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically training in Retread processes
• 5+ years of experience in engineering or maintenance
• Advanced degree in Engineering, Business, or Process Control
• Proficiency in French and/or Spanish
