Convexity Properties, a DRW company, is a full-service real estate firm investing in and developing unique retail, residential, commercial and mixed-use properties. We are long-term owners and investors who make decisions based exclusively on market fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Track and organize project tasks, schedules, and deliverables from design through post-construction
• Manage external service providers including architects, engineers, and general contractors
• Assist in contract negotiations and manage financial and scope changes
• Liaise with municipal authorities to obtain necessary approvals and permits
• Assist in project budget preparation, monthly draw requests, and financial reporting
• Provide regular project updates to internal and external resources and senior management
• Interact with the acquisitions team to determine viability of prospective projects
• Assist in managing the project close-out process
• Travel to project sites as needed

Requirements

• 3-5 years of real estate development and project management experience
• Experience with mixed-use commercial, hospitality, or residential projects
• Previous experience working on urban projects
• Vendor management experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically MS Project and Excel
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or urban planning
• Ability to travel within the U.S. approximately 40% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing project proformas and financial statements
• Experience working on luxury high-rise residential projects
