Development and Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and design new and existing products with a focus on functionality and manufacturability
• Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks
• Perform technical analyses and simulations to optimize product performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product feasibility and alignment with project goals
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously within time and budget constraints
• Participate in the entire product development lifecycle from ideation to production
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and manufacturing processes
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the development department

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Relevant experience in product development and/or design
• Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software
• Good FEM knowledge (ANSYS and/or ABAQUS preferred)
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, ideally with CFRP knowledge
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
• Strong project management and multitasking abilities
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in German and English
