Developer Relations Lead

Flux is building the world's first AI hardware engineer. Our platform enables anyone to go from idea to manufacturable board using nothing more than a natural language prompt, democratizing electronic design automation.

Responsibilities

• Own the community by setting norms, moderating, and driving engagement with power users
• Turn recurring questions into durable artifacts like documentation, tutorials, and FAQs
• Own the product education roadmap across docs, walkthroughs, and example designs
• Lead a documentation refresh and build sustainable systems for accuracy
• Create technical storytelling through case studies and customer workflows
• Build feedback loops between the community and Product/GTM teams
• Guide hardware advocates and creators with clear briefs and quality standards

Requirements

• Prior experience in DevRel, technical community, solutions engineering, or technical marketing
• Credible technical depth with exposure to PCB workflows
• Strong writing and content structuring skills for documentation and tutorials
• Comfort being public-facing and representing the company externally
• Ability to build lightweight systems from scratch (tagging, content pipelines, etc.)
• High ownership and bias to action in ambiguous environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building or migrating communities (e.g., Slack to Discourse)
• Experience owning documentation as a product surface (e.g., Mintlify)
• Experience creating technical case studies grounded in real workflows
• Background in PLG developer tools or products for technical audiences
• Prior work with hardware startups, makers, robotics, or embedded ecosystems
• Experience working with technical advocates or influencer-style partners
