Developer, Portworx

Responsibilities

• Design and implement various features and products within the Portworx portfolio
• Develop microservices and integrate new features into existing products
• Focus on high-quality design, unit/functional testing, code reviews, and documentation
• Collaborate with stakeholders to move solutions from initial design to production
• Take full ownership of development activities, adapting to customer feedback and resolving issues found during testing or deployment
• Experiment with new technologies to drive innovation and push the state-of-the-art

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or a related technical field
• 4+ years of experience in designing, developing, and testing product components using Python or Go
• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture and scalable platforms
• Experience designing and implementing production-grade microservices in cloud environments
• Proficiency in distributed system architecture and scaling microservices
• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design
• Ability to work in an in-office environment in Bangalore, India

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with KubeVirt, OpenShift, VMware APIs, or virtualization technologies
• Deep understanding of containerized workloads and virtual machine orchestration
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Kubernetes control plane development
• Experience building systems for telemetry reporting from production business services
