Developer Marketing Manager

Responsibilities

• Own the marketing strategy for the developer portal (developers.id.me) and technical documentation (docs.id.me), including information architecture and content roadmaps.
• Write and publish high-quality technical content such as quickstarts, integration guides, API references, and code snippets.
• Create developer enablement materials including tutorials, video walkthroughs, and sandbox demos for identity workflows.
• Translate complex engineering specifications and PRDs into clear, developer-friendly documentation and how-to guides.
• Drive qualified developer traffic through community engagement, partnerships, and targeted technical campaigns.
• Track and report on developer funnel metrics, including portal traffic, sandbox signups, and API activation rates.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and DevRel to align technical launches with the platform narrative.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in developer marketing, technical product marketing, or developer relations (DevRel).
• Technical background with a degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong technical writing skills with a proven ability to create documentation that developers find useful.
• Hands-on familiarity with modern programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Go.
• Proficiency working with Git and managing code samples.
• Experience owning or contributing to a developer portal or technical documentation program.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of IAM and identity protocols including OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SAML, and SCIM.
• Experience marketing identity, authentication, CIAM, or security platforms.
• Experience working within a large-scale developer ecosystem or community.
