Developer in Test

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and test suites
• Build automated tests for web applications, APIs, microservices, and backend systems
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing
• Develop reusable testing tools, utilities, and frameworks to improve test efficiency
• Perform functional, integration, regression, performance, and end-to-end testing
• Identify, troubleshoot, and document defects with clear reproduction steps
• Analyze test results and provide actionable quality metrics and reports

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in software testing, automation, or software development
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#
• Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks
• Experience testing RESTful APIs and microservices
• Knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, REST Assured, or Postman
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and familiarity with CI/CD tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or k6
• Familiarity with database testing using SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
