About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the lifecycle of multiple affordable housing development projects from initial underwriting through closing and stabilization
- Make substantial contributions to analysis informing investment decisions and prepare investment materials
- Compile due diligence information including financial, market, site, and regulatory data
- Manage project pro formas including budgets, schedules, timing, and underwriting assumptions
- Coordinate and lead community meetings and governmental approval processes
- Build and lead internal teams and external consultants through conceptual design and entitlements
- Supervise personnel including team associates and analysts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- 7 years of experience in real estate development or construction
- Experience in affordable housing or multifamily sectors
- Strong quantitative, financial analysis, and Excel modeling skills
- Experience with LIHTC, Section 8, and Public Housing strongly preferred
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Ability to travel as required
