Developer

Responsibilities

• Manage the lifecycle of multiple affordable housing development projects from initial underwriting through closing and stabilization
• Make substantial contributions to analysis informing investment decisions and prepare investment materials
• Compile due diligence information including financial, market, site, and regulatory data
• Manage project pro formas including budgets, schedules, timing, and underwriting assumptions
• Coordinate and lead community meetings and governmental approval processes
• Build and lead internal teams and external consultants through conceptual design and entitlements
• Supervise personnel including team associates and analysts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
• 7 years of experience in real estate development or construction
• Experience in affordable housing or multifamily sectors
• Strong quantitative, financial analysis, and Excel modeling skills
• Experience with LIHTC, Section 8, and Public Housing strongly preferred
• Strong project management and communication skills
• Ability to travel as required
