Responsibilities

  • Build and manage developer communities across Discord, GitHub, X, and various game dev/VR/AR forums
  • Define community culture, rituals, and incentive mechanisms to drive engagement
  • Launch developer ambassador programs and organize hackathons, game jams, and workshops
  • Build production-grade demo apps and sample projects using Blender, Unity, or Unreal
  • Produce technical tutorials, blog posts, livestreams, and video walkthroughs
  • Own and improve developer onboarding, including API docs, SDKs, and quickstart guides
  • Act as a feedback bridge between external developers and the product/engineering teams
  • Represent Meshy at conferences and build relationships with developer influencers

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in DevRel or DevExp at a leading developer API company or AI startup
  • Proven ability to ship code and build production-grade demos and API integrations
  • Hands-on proficiency with 3D tools such as Blender, Unity, or Unreal
  • Experience growing developer communities on platforms like Discord, GitHub, and Reddit
  • Track record of creating technical content and running developer events
  • AI-native workflow with active use of AI tools
  • High energy and ability to thrive in early-stage, ambiguous environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing developer following or open-source credibility (GitHub stars, X audience)
  • Experience with multiple game engines or 3D frameworks (Godot, WebGL/WebXR, Three.js)
  • Experience participating in game jams or VR/AR hackathons
