Developer Experience Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop demos and sample applications showcasing best practices for building with Codex, frontier models, and multimodal capabilities
• Create high-quality technical content including tutorials, blog posts, videos, and code samples
• Engage with and foster the Singapore and global developer ecosystem
• Represent OpenAI at developer events and online as a technical advocate
• Gather and synthesize developer feedback to inform the product roadmap
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and marketing teams
• Contribute to improving OpenAI's developer products, interfaces, and surfaces
• Travel across APAC up to ~30% to support events and build local communities

Requirements

• Robust full-stack engineering background
• Demonstrated experience building applications using AI and large language models (LLMs)
• Fluency in Mandarin to support Mandarin-speaking clients and communities
• Proven track record of creating engaging technical content or developer tooling
• Ability to thrive in dynamic environments with evolving priorities
• Strong commitment to AI ethics and safety
