Developer Advocate Engineer

About the Company

Dexmate is building the foundation for physical AI — combining a new generation of robots with a universal Physical AI OS, making robots as easy to build and deploy as software. Our mission is to democratize robotics by lowering the barrier to entry, delivering a plug-and-play platform for developers, researchers, and enterprises.

Responsibilities

• Build and publish sample projects showing AI/ML engineers how to train, fine-tune, and deploy models on the Dexmate platform
• Write and publish weekly technical tutorials, architecture explainers, and deployment walkthroughs
• Own SDK documentation for AI/ML workflows, including quickstart guides and Python SDK samples
• Support the developer community by answering questions in Discord and GitHub Discussions
• Build reference integrations with foundation AI model providers
• Speak at AI/ML conferences such as NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, and CoRL
• Run live demos for developers, partners, and enterprise prospects
• Surface model integration friction and missing platform capabilities to the engineering team

Requirements

• 3+ years of ML engineering experience (model development, training infrastructure, inference, or MLOps)
• Fluent Python programming skills
• Proven experience shipping models in production
• Experience publishing technical content that has gained community traction
• Ability to write clean, documented, and opinionated code
• Strong technical communication skills for both written guides and live presentations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with vision-language-action models or embodied AI research
• Hands-on sim-to-real transfer work
• Familiarity with Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, Drake, or Genesis
• Existing technical blog, GitHub, or YouTube presence with real traction
• Open-source ML contributions
• Experience deploying models on edge or embedded hardware
