Detail Shop Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage detail shop staff including Detailer I and II
• Hold staff accountable for daily performance, quality, and productivity
• Oversee staffing, training, and labor hour management
• Optimize shop operations for productivity and profitability
• Maintain shop equipment, facility, and necessary supplies
• Implement safety policies and conduct regular safety audits
• Monitor inventory levels and post vehicle detail completions
• Coordinate with other departments to manage production flow
• Ensure compliance with customer contracts regarding quality and deadlines

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
• Minimum 2 years of automotive experience
• High School diploma or GED
• Proficiency with computer systems and managing metrics
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to perform light to heavy physical work
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior leadership experience managing direct reports
• Auction and vehicle detailing experience
