About the role

Responsibilities

  • Answer enquiries from customers and internal staff regarding delivery issues
  • Provide knowledgeable, courteous and helpful customer service
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and achieve daily booking targets
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve customer queries and complaints
  • Prepare and enter despatch information into the DISTRIB computer system with high accuracy
  • Coordinate and manage delivery jobs for drivers and provide administrative support
  • Maintain Radaro (Transport Management System) daily
  • Use Radaro to prepare and route runs for sub-contractors
  • Report and log customer concerns to appropriate departments
  • Assist in managing delivery teams and carriers
  • Ensure coordination of OHS and implementation of safe work practices

Requirements

  • Previous despatch experience preferred but not essential
  • Full working rights in Australia
