Responsibilities

• Prepare necessary documentation for safe, regular, and efficient flight operations from start to finish
• Exercise operational control over flights, including authority regarding start, continuation, deviation, and termination
• Perform flight control using the Sabre System
• Dispatch aircraft by preparing flights and providing meteorological reports
• Execute cargo manifests and weight and balance calculations using the Eloadsheet System
• Create flight plans using the Jetplan System
• Assist pilots with flight preparation
• Analyze meteorology and NOTAMs to provide briefings to flight crews

Requirements

• Completed high school education (Bachillerato) with certificate
• Valid Aircraft Operations Officer License (Licencia de Oficial de Operaciones de Aeronaves)
• Valid psychophysical exam (Examen psicofísico)
• Intermediate English level
• Advanced handling of technical manuals and strict adherence to procedures
• 3+ years of experience as an Operations Officer
• Availability to work rotating shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of experience working within an Operational Control Center (OCC)
