Desktop Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support for enterprise computer systems, software, hardware, printers, mobile devices, and network connectivity.
• Install and configure end-user computing devices for employee onboarding and deprovisioning for offboarding.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues as a first/second level contact.
• Support onsite teams with conference room and AV needs, including setting up and troubleshooting video conferencing equipment.
• Manage and track company assets using corporate asset management tools.
• Maintain ticket and request queues within the Enterprise Ticketing System (ServiceNow).
• Assist with the configuration and installation of operations tools such as Bartender, ProShip, ConnectShip, and Oracle.
• Contribute to the development of technical knowledgebase content and support documentation.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of proven experience in a customer-focused IT support position.
• Extensive experience working with both Windows and Mac OS operating systems.
• Proficiency with endpoint management software, specifically Microsoft Azure and Intune.
• Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
• Experience installing and configuring computer systems, printers, and applications for large-scale organizations.
• Excellent professional written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and manage deadlines efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Some college or technical training (4 years).
• Industry-specific certifications in relevant computer languages or software.
• Experience using remote support tools such as BeyondTrust.
