Desktop Systems Specialist I

Responsibilities

• Provide level 1-2 end-user and desktop support both face-to-face and remotely
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and OS incidents within SLA and ITIL guidelines
• Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, including hardware replacements and upgrades
• Support AV and meeting room systems, including MS Teams rooms and teleconferencing setups
• Manage software and MS365 support, including Windows 10/11 and Outlook troubleshooting
• Maintain IT asset registers and track equipment through proper documentation
• Perform basic network troubleshooting for LAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN connectivity

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent relevant experience
• 1-3 years of IT support experience within a large enterprise environment
• Strong problem-solving, time management, and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical users
• Willingness and ability to travel to multiple company sites as required
