Desktop Support Technician

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve user requests and incidents through the service desk ticketing system
• Provide first-level troubleshooting for hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues
• Configure, install, and update software applications and peripherals
• Set up workstations, laptops, and mobile devices for new and existing users
• Manage user accounts, including creating, modifying, disabling, and resetting passwords
• Perform basic hardware repairs and replacements such as memory and hard drives
• Maintain accurate records of support activities and document solutions for the knowledge base
• Assist with physical inventory audits of IT assets and ensure adherence to security policies

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in IT support or a related technical role
• Experience with laptop configuration, deployment, and desktop support
• Proficiency with Windows and/or macOS operating systems
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Basic understanding of network concepts and troubleshooting
• Experience using service desk ticketing systems
• Advanced English level

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Familiarity with remote support tools and technologies
• Basic knowledge of IT security principles and mobile device management
• Experience working in regulated environments
