Desktop Support Technician II

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st level support for the Echodyne Help Desk
• Build, configure, and deploy employee laptops and workstations
• Perform software and hardware installations and upgrades
• Troubleshoot systems, applications, and networks to identify and correct malfunctions
• Develop and conduct training for system users on operating systems and applications
• Create and maintain Knowledge Base articles for internal teams and end-users
• Maintain confidentiality regarding all information processed or accessed on the network

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office automation software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of core Microsoft services including Active Directory, Exchange, DNS, and TCP/IP
• Excellent customer service skills via email, phone, and in-person
• Ability to independently complete tasks in a timely and organized manner
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of experience in a service desk environment
• Experience troubleshooting PC desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
• Experience using automation tools to deploy OS images and software packages
• Knowledge of Ubuntu Desktop or MacOS
• Microsoft, Cisco, A+, or Net+ certifications
