About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as an initial point of contact for technical support requests via phone, email, and in person
- Serve as the local IT point of contact for office-based issues
- Perform triage and resolve incidents related to PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and business applications
- Maintain departmental procedures and technical content in the Knowledge Base
- Contribute to IT projects and document persistent technical problems
- Ensure a positive user experience through timely and professional service
Requirements
- 1-3 years of technical support experience (desktop or helpdesk preferred)
- 4-year college degree
- Working knowledge of Windows 11, Office 365, Copilot, Active Directory, Exchange, Windows Server, and Entra ID
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to communicate technical details to non-technical users
- Proficiency in PC hardware and software support and incident documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ServiceNow
- Knowledge of Crestron Audio Visual equipment
- Exposure to the ITIL Framework
