About the role
Responsibilities
- Solve customer support issues by visiting end-user locations
- Provide support in an office environment including PC hardware and software troubleshooting
- Provide Apple iOS support
- Support remote sites which may require travel
- Maintain and abide by compliance activities
- Communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
- Perform labor-related duties such as connecting computer equipment and lifting up to 50 lbs
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience providing desk side support
- Proficient troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, printing, and networking
- Ability to resolve Windows and OS X Operating System issues
- Basic Cisco network troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
- Experience with telephone support (PBX or VoIP)
- Technical degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
