About the role

Responsibilities

  • Solve customer support issues by visiting end-user locations
  • Provide support in an office environment including PC hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Provide Apple iOS support
  • Support remote sites which may require travel
  • Maintain and abide by compliance activities
  • Communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Perform labor-related duties such as connecting computer equipment and lifting up to 50 lbs

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience providing desk side support
  • Proficient troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, printing, and networking
  • Ability to resolve Windows and OS X Operating System issues
  • Basic Cisco network troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Experience with telephone support (PBX or VoIP)
  • Technical degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
