Designer Studio Consultant, Plumbing & Hardware

Responsibilities

• Provide designer advisory and technical specification support for plumbing and hardware
• Review spec books, plans, and finish schedules to identify gaps or lead-time risks
• Source and propose refined product options aligned with design intent and budget
• Build complete, coordinated plumbing packages and provide alternates
• Educate designers and project teams on presenting plumbing selections
• Advise clients on pricing structures to protect margins and reduce risk
• Train studio interns and new team members on brand standards and product knowledge
• Participate in studio events, trainings, and designer education sessions
• Collaborate with vendor partners to confirm technical fit and availability

Requirements

• 7+ years in plumbing products, showroom sales, or technical specification
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with CRM, call sheets, and quote-to-close processes
• Genuine interest in interior design
• Availability for client appointments and studio events
