About the Company

Navi is building the future of aviation intelligence — the software, the hardware, and the brand. Deployed at flight schools and the U.S. Air Force, Navi's platform provides critical intelligence for pilots, instructors, and fleet operators.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product design including information architecture, interaction design, and final UI across web and mobile
• Lead the industrial and product design of Navi's Wave hardware for cockpit environments
• Design complex, data-rich interfaces such as sortie timelines, maneuver analysis, and safety dashboards
• Build and maintain a scalable design system of components and patterns
• Own the brand identity, including the website, pitch materials, marketing, and social media
• Use AI design tools aggressively for image generation, prototyping, and asset creation
• Collaborate directly with engineering to build and iterate in production

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional design experience spanning product UI, brand, and visual design
• Proven proficiency in Figma and modern design tooling
• Expert-level use of AI design tools (Midjourney, Cursor, etc.) to multiply output
• Strong information design instincts for making complex data legible and actionable
• Ability to work as a solo designer, owning every decision from concept to production
• High bar for craft in typography, spacing, hierarchy, and motion

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing for aviation, defense, or safety-critical environments
• Industrial or hardware product design experience
• Motion design or prototyping skills
• Front-end fluency in HTML/CSS or React
