Designer/Home Stylist

Responsibilities

• Utilize design expertise to assist clients in one-on-one consultations both in-store and in-home to drive sales
• Perform productive in-home consultations, including accurately measuring and assessing client living spaces
• Create and present personalized design plans based on client needs, style, and preferences
• Maintain deep product knowledge of the design studio assortment to demonstrate features and benefits
• Manage complex large orders across various sales channels and provide world-class service for special orders and deliveries
• Achieve and exceed established sales and productivity goals through active clienteling and follow-up

Requirements

• 1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience
• Strong communication, clienteling, and customer follow-up skills
• Ability to perform in-home consultations and take accurate measurements
• Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items up to 75 lbs using appropriate safety techniques
• Ability to remain mobile on the sales floor for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working with the elements of design
• Experience in specialty retail environments
