Designer - Dairy Applications

Responsibilities

• Independently manage assigned projects, timelines, and priorities to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Design finished product formulations using IFF technologies while meeting industrial standards and country-specific requirements regarding profile, legality, cost, and stability.
• Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support for complex formulation challenges.
• Execute projects for key local, strategic, and regional customers with a focus on commercial success.
• Refine and articulate taste and texture attributes with project teams and stakeholders.
• Contribute to new concept generation and support high-impact projects through cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience in the industrial food, ingredient, or flavor industry.
• At least two years of relevant technical expertise.
• University or college degree in Food Science and Technology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology.
• Strong understanding of ingredient functionality and flavor performance in dairy products.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Regulatory teams.
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time to support customer trials and troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Food Science or a related field.
• Experience supporting customer plant trials, troubleshooting, or technical training activities.
• Familiarity with innovation processes and contributing to technical documentation.
