Design Technologist/BIM Lead

Responsibilities

• Develop design automation strategy in collaboration with Product and Software teams
• Build and maintain a BIM library of kit-of-parts and rules-based configuration systems
• Advance components from concept through BIM to construction documentation and field validation
• Automate BOM generation in coordination with Software, Manufacturing, and Construction teams
• Define distribution and handoff systems for manufacturing, field teams, and jurisdictions
• Maintain fabrication-aligned BIM models and permit-ready drawing sets
• Resolve model conflicts across Architecture, Structural, MEP, and manufacturing teams

Requirements

• 6–10+ years of experience in architecture
• Advanced modeling proficiency in Revit, ACC, Rhino, Dynamo, and Grasshopper
• Proven ability to manage data flow across complex software toolchains
• Licensed architect or on a clear path to licensure
• Strong understanding of architectural documentation and building-systems integration
• Experience with prefabrication, modular, or panelized construction
• Experience with product-platform delivery rather than traditional project-based delivery
• Background in AEC technology and architectural productization
