Design Systems Lead

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the design systems infrastructure to ensure quality, consistency, and reach
• Translate brand systems into scalable templates, components, and modular frameworks across platforms like Figma, Google Workspace, and Claude
• Build repeatable systems for high-volume design needs such as presentations and social assets
• Write and maintain markdown-based brand documentation and instruction files for AI outputs
• Build high-functioning AI skills from scratch using structured prompts and reference frameworks
• Vibe-code lightweight apps and custom tools for design use cases using AI models and APIs
• Partner with designers to distill complex visual systems into usable building blocks
• Train firm members on new tools and systems through documentation or walkthroughs

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in brand design, design systems, or product design
• Deep command of visual identity, typography, and layout
• Strong Figma skills including building and maintaining component libraries
• Experience writing and scaling AI skills and structuring reference frameworks
• Ability to vibe-code lightweight apps, generators, or custom tools
• Proficiency with AI tools such as Claude, Codex, Krea, or Midjourney
• Strong collaborative skills and ability to translate design thinking for non-designers
