Design Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the building project team, including architects, mechanical/electrical engineers, and BIM designers
• Manage project performance, including productivity, quality, and schedule adherence
• Act as the primary interface between the building design team and project management, procurement, and construction
• Support project initiation and development during both the estimating and execution phases
• Drive communication with stakeholders regarding contractual requirements, budgets, and schedules
• Define and own project schedules and document control metrics
• Provide accurate forecasting of project manpower needs to department managers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Architectural Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant design experience
• At least 3 years of relevant building project management experience leading a team
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a highly matrixed environment and drive projects to completion

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) license
• Experience with EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) building execution
• Knowledge of multi-discipline industrial building design
