Design Professional

Responsibilities

• Ensure product design and architecture meet customer quality requirements, including weight, recycling, and technical specifications.
• Manage CAD resources functionally to fulfill design requirements and ensure implementation of design standards.
• Pilot the design of parts and products, analyzing feasibility regarding styling, injection, demoulding, assembly, and perceived quality.
• Manage technical information flow with CAD offices and Tier 2 suppliers.
• Validate the quality of CAD files, 2D drawings, and 3D data received from customers and suppliers.
• Liaise with toolmakers and injection engineers to optimize part design for tool feasibility.
• Lead Design Reviews and execute decided actions to ensure project alignment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a CAD Engineer, Mould Engineer, or in Plastic Parts design.
• Strong knowledge of plastic manufacturing rules, including shrinkage analysis and demoulding.
• Proficiency in using CAD software systems to build and check products (3D and 2D).
• Solid understanding of basic mechanical rules.
• Strong soft skills including communication, team spirit, decision-making, and perseverance.
