About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the design process from inception through construction documentation
- Review technical requirements and validate scope boundaries for design packages
- Develop and maintain the Design Management Plan
- Facilitate value management, constructability workshops, and risk analysis sessions
- Manage design-related RFIs and changes in coordination with construction management
- Conduct site inspections and witness testing to verify adherence to quality standards
- Coordinate the issuance of finalized as-built drawings and support close-out activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in design management for commercial real estate or large-scale construction
- In-depth knowledge of design standards, building codes, and construction processes
- Proficiency in BIM tools and design coordination software
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with construction management tools such as Bluebeam, Procore, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams
- Familiarity with permitting processes and regulatory compliance
